As Apple gears up for its second phase of launches in 20 more countries, including the Asian giants – India and China -on August 22, the number game frenzy is again catching up. Apple’s Taiwanese manufacturer for handsets and iPods, Foxconn, have recently beefed up the production of iPhones to 800,000 units/week .
This rate means that by the end of this year, Foxconn will be manufacturing 40 million iPhones, nearly 60% increase on even their earlier estimation.
So what are we looking at? How many millions of iPhoes will be sold by 31st December, 2008? Any guesses?
