We are thrilled to...bring iPhone 3G to millions of mobile customers in India...We can't wait to get this revolutionary product in the hands of even more people around the world. Tim Cook, Apple COO.
Two lakh prospective consumers who have registered with the Airtel website alone to pick up the piece.
August 22. 2008. Launching at the stroke of midnight. The Maharaja of Jaipur, capital of the Indian desert state of Rajasthan, was among those standing at the queue outside one of those iStores selling the brand, new, sleek and (of course legal) iPhone.
Pretty grand opening that, however there is only one glitch. Apple Read More...
Lots of hypes. Loads of paranoid (Android). The phone of the future is just around the corner, just about to knock on your door. Here is a look at a "beta" model of the much anticipated first Android based handset as it is sneaked out and spread around the web. We pay our courtesy to the Shiny Media for the following images:
No doubt it has both touchscreen and the QWERTY keyboard.
However, I am certainly not trading my iPhone for this bulky staff.
Time for some hi-tech audio-video bonanza.
The Northern Irish alternative rock band Snow Patrol and Apple are collaborating to create an application that will give iPhone/iPod touch users exclusive access to explore artwork, pictures, lyrics video and more, like an interactive digital booklet.
It will be an interactive element; a digital booklet that will take you into the videos and content

Yes, if there is such a thing. Manufactured by InvisibleSHIELD this is compatible with iPhone 1.0 and iPhone 3G.
The great thing about this screen protector is that it is made from a material designed for protecting military helicopter blades. Yes, you read that right. Of course the staff comes with a life-time warranty against scratches. This shape of the material is such that it provides full cover to the glass surface of the iPhone. And it is unobtrusive. This invisible case doesn't come in the way of you and your touch-screen interface. So use the iPhone without removing the case.
What's more, the case Read More...
The 2nd phase much anticipated iPhone launch pathetically fell way off the mark in the world's fastest-growing mobile phone market, India. No prizes in guessing why, paying thrice the price than the US market is not even whimsical, it is downright non-sense.
Only about 5000 units have been sold in India so far. And that falls way sort of the Airtel and Vodafone combined potential (theoretically) audience of almost 105.2 million subscribers.
It seems the carriers, Vodafone and Airtel have woken up from their smug islumber and might concur with Apple's plans of slashing the iPhone price by 15%, approximately Rs. 5000 (or $125) less Read More...
A tentatively titled project the "Skymarket" by Microsoft may hit the digital mobile market spaces by late 2009. This market is modeled on the App Store and will be another online store for mobile software. This "futuristic" project (you never know when does the future arrive with Microsoft in the fray) is intended to make the Windows Mobile marketplace 'the place to be' for developers wishing to distribute and monetize their Windows Mobile applications.
The project, however, is at a nascent state. Here is an excerpt from Microsoft's quest for a Senior Product Manager for the "Skymarket" project from the computerjobs.com. Read More...
Simple. Get rid of the irritable Java script if you are ok with a less richer but much faster Internet experience.
Disable the Java Script. Go to the iPhone home screen and tap settings.
Scroll down and tap the Safari button.
Go to security.
Set (slide) the Javascript "Off".
This will take you to the clean HTML and CSS mode. Not great web experience, but good enough for casual and faster browsing.
However, note that, this method will not work out in exactly the same way in all the sites. Here is a screenshot from Crackberry.com's tests conducted on different sites, using both the iPhone 3G Read More...
Seems the China Mobile-iPhone revenue sharing stalemate is nearing end. Or at least some sort of an understanding has been achieved. Apple and China Mobile have decided to settle the issue by deciding to rely on subsiding the handset. Acroding to an "insider", the deal is nearing the end and once it is finalized, it is expected to settle down the high pricing issue of the iPhone in China.
The "insider", however, has not revealed the when, what and how of the prosed deal.

This game is not anything that is likely to transform a non-ponger to ponging
Being a big ping pong fan, I was pretty excited when I found a digital version of it at the App Store. I did not expect it to be anywhere near as fun as the real one (come on, that's addictive). However, I did expect at least different simulated paddles and a better gaming environment than the drab white.
Otherwise, the Paddle Ball app is fine. Excellent physics, interesting audio inputs, unlockabbe ballsand local Read More...
Looks like that. It seems a multi-touch Mac tablet is coming soon. The Mac tablet will include those iPhone features that have caught mass imagination - zooming, panning, scrolling, rotating, enlarging, floating controls, zooming targets, paging, inertia, keyboarding, and wheeling
An Apple patent application published on Thursday describes a multi-touch Mac tablet.
What's more, Jonathan Ive, Apple's senior VP of industrial design, the man behind the iMac, the aluminum PowerPook G4, the MacBook Pro, iPod, and iPhone is one of the inventors of this particular Mac line as well.
Some renovation, as analysts would assert you. We leave you just with the following diagrams Read More...
