Apple to earn revenue in billions

The future couldn’t possibly be brighter for Apple.  Antone Gonsalves of Information Week figures that the iPhone launch will set the cash registers ringing at Apple: Apple could take in as much as $1 billion in the initial launch of the 3G iPhone, which is scheduled to go on sale in 22 countries on Friday. At the same time, it appears that the business community is also keen to welcome Apple’s new offering: support for Active Sync, Microsoft Exchange, and remote wipe and more.
