Complete List of Removed Apps: App Store

Removing and restoring of applications on the App Store is an old story, but we are still trying to figure our exactly why apps are removed or restored. Keeping track of disappearance of Apps, here we give you the master list of removed and restored applications. I Am Rich: This application was retailed at $999.99 and did nothing. App Store: Mysterious App disappearances

App Store: Mysterious App disappearances

Some apps have been pulled from the App Store already, including Box Office, Aurora Feint, and most recently, NetShare. I hope Apple doesn’t make a habit of removing apps suddenly, without notice or explanation. That would make the App Store a rather unreliable shopping place. While the fact is still a mystery, we are just happy to know that Read More...

Aurora Feint Update

Aurora Feint Update

This is an update for the earlier report I made on Aurora Feint. It is confirmed that Apple intentionally removed this game from the App Store over privacy concerns. The way the developers of this game openly collected contact details of users was not in conformation to the policy of Apple and users too find it sneaky. One of the developers of the game, Danielle Cassley however, clarifies that they were not trying to be sneaky or do something nasty and further noted that the data collected were never stored on their servers. A re-constructed version of the game has been Read More...

Aurora Feint: No More a Free Application?

Aurora feint is a game that everyone will find interesting. Yes, Aurora Feint is an addictive game and more addictive for being a free game. But, the game is no more in App Store and I have to suffer now because I just uninstalled the application to fix some crashing issue of my iPhone. The developers of this game are probably planning to deploy this game as paid application now. For now, we just need cross our fingers and wait for the retail price. For those of you who have not heard about the game, here is the gist of the Read More...
