I would have said 'you are insane' if you've told me, 'Apple would worth more than Google one day' four years back. However, you would know today that you'd not been wrong at all in predicting that. Apple released iPhone OS 3.1 beta 3 version early Tuesday, there are many minor feature tweaks as expected. The most noteworthy feature is the copy/paste option for sending video files.  It works the like copy and pasting images to mail them. With WWDC 2009 just a month away, Apple is getting all feverish and excited. The company has just released beta 5 of iPhone OS 3.0 signaling the circle is getting complete. If you are a registered developer and have signed up for the Apple developer's program, go ahead and download the software. Early adopters of the beta software are reporting that beta 5 has hidden MMS feature. The button for enabling and disabling MMS which was there in earlier versions is mysteriously gone.

The treasure hunt for new features of iPhone OS 3.0 is still on and more and more are being discovered. Along with the ability to receive video MMS, video recording and editing features seems to be coming with the next iPhone hardware upgrade.  Ben over at benm.at discovered a resource file in the beta OS that hints at the coming of not only video recording, but also the ability to trim and edit video files.  This is all good news for now. Can't wait for WWDC 2009 to see the new iPhone.

A developer while hacking around the yet to be released iPhone OS 3.0 has found out that the software supports tethering. This means you would be able to share the Internet connection with your laptop.
