Dear Steve Jobs, it's really sad to think that we won't be seeing your mantis like stature, blue jeans and your black turtleneck shirt till the beginning of summer 2009. It has been hard for all Apple fans to see Phil Schiller delivering keynotes in your stead. Not that we are unhappy about Schiller, we have lately become so comfortable with the thought that you are the immortal mouthpiece of Apple, the saint and the savior.
Developers from around the world would be gathering in the Moscone hall to take a sneak peek of the softwares and the hardwares that Apple Read More...
I was looking for some good iPhone external battery charger and stumbled upon this amazing battery pack. You too should take a look at these bunch of external batteries exclusively meant for the Macbook series, Macbook Pro and Macbook air models. Grab one as soon as you have the money if you think you need one and does not mind carrying around an extra weight.
Sanho Corp has finally brought HyperMac batteries that would give extra hours of power to your Macbooks. Hypermac is available in 4 different capacities of 60Wh, 100Wh, 150Wh and 222Wh and the price starts from $199.95 Read More...
Thursday 23 April 2009 was a special day for Apple, Bump Technologies and most of all thirteen year old boy Connor Mulcahey from Weston Connecticut.
That was the day Apple reached the one billion iPhone application download mark. Connor Mulcahey is the lucky winner of the download contest. The one billionth application downloaded was Bump, a social networking app from Bump technologies. The application is a free one and I was wondering he knew how to play the download game or was he just lucky? Anyway, a big cheers to Connor.
As promised, Connor would be getting a $10,000 iTunes gift card, an iPod touch, Read More...
In an attempt to be the lucky winner, I've been downloading iPhone applications like crazy (most of them free ones of course) since the day Apple announced that the person who downloads the 1 billionth application would be given a 17 inch Macbook Pro, a Time Capsule router and $10,000 iTunes gift card. Seems I was born on an unlucky day, Apple has reached the one billion mark on Thursday and I've not got any Apple mail. Nevertheless, I'll love to know the winner.
I should say Apple was feverish out of restlessness to reach the billion mark, that's the only Read More...
If this is the next generation iPhone, I won't buy it until someone comes and tell me it does have a battery and a better camera. Looks too slim and very unrealistic. Gizmodo has posted pictures of the next gen iPhone with super sharp edges with the middle part bulging out.
The conceptualized next gen iPhone is shaped like the new range of iPod touch with curved edges. On serious consideration I'd say Apple is not likely to change the design much at the hardware front.
Flash support would be a welcome note though. And yes, longer battery life would be the Read More...
For those of you who missed the Macworld day 1 Keynote from Phillip Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing; here is a quick wrap up.
New Products
To ensure usability and desirability, Apple introduced a new 17” Macbook pro adding up to the existing 13” and 15” Macbook product line. The new Macbook is a technology breakthrough for Apple and laptop makers. The new product comes with 8 hours of battery life and extended charge time from normal 300 to 1000 times. This gives the new thin and light Macbook three times longer life than any laptops in the Read More...
You might be unhappy that the October 14, Apple event was exclusively for Macbooks series; nothing for the iPhone. Some of us were expecting that Steve Jobs will announce the release of the long awaited iPhone firmware 2.2, but it didn’t happen. The new ranges of shinnier, slicker and stunningly more beautiful Macbook and Macbook Pro series steal away the whole event.
Hold on, that’s not all; it seems Apple has a serious plan to find out the missing links of all Apple products. In future Apple products will be linked in such a way that an accessory of one product Read More...
