I would have said 'you are insane' if you've told me, 'Apple would worth more than Google one day' four years back. However, you would know today that you'd not been wrong at all in predicting that. Yep, Apple is worth $147.56 billion while Google is worth $144.2 billion.
This is a sad aftermath of the gloomy adieu of Eric Schmidt from Apple board. The two companies, which we consider once as hand and glove are now going to compete with every bit of their claws and nails. Safari against Google Chrome, Android against iPhone OS and Mac OS X against Read More...

As expected Eric Schmidt has finally resigned from his position on Apple's Board.
Schmidt joined Apple's Board in 2006. Well, Read More...

“Chrome” is the Google Browser we started expecting 'could be coming soon' since 2001. Finally, we have this browser for download on 2nd September 2008. That was a long wait indeed. A television advertisement for the iPhone read, “all the the parts of the internet are on the iPhone.” Advertising Standards Authority in UK lashed at Apple for this claim and termed the claim as misleading and banned the advertisement.
The charge and the claim are two extremes and are really petty and funny. Olivia Campbell, spokesperson of Advertising Standards Authority asserts:
Because the iPhone doesn't support Flash or Java, you couldn't really see the internet in its full glory. They made a very general claim that you can see the internet in its entirety, and actually that's not quite true - so Read More...

A number of sites like ipodia and Wapedia have already released versions of the Wikepedia. These sites typically shrink or remove images in an attempt to conserve bandwidth and improve browsing speed.
I took a look at the new offer myself. I searched a term from the powerset search page, and also directly in the Wikipedia, both from my iPhone, of course.
