Mark Papermaster to head iPod and iPhone engineering department
Apple has announced that Mark Papermaster would start work as Senior Vice President of Devices Hardware Engineering starting April 24, 2009. Papermaster was recruited in October 2008 to replace Tony Fadell who resigned as the iPod and iPhone division chief for personal reasons. Papermaster joined Apple in November 2008, however, but he was asked to cease work with Apple according to the direction of US Federal District Judge Kenneth Karras.
