Recently, Sprint's CEO Dan Hesse was asked whether Palm Pre is successfully competing with the iPhone. That was a very pointed question which could not be answered without stammering a bit. The board of directors at Palm has made it official that Jon Rubinstein is the new CEO of the company to replace Ed Colligan. Ed Colligan stepped down after sixteen years of service to the company.
